New Images of Razer Fiona.

Razer just recently announced it's secret project Fiona and this is what it looks like. A tablet...With handles. Though the concept is cool and the tech specs seem to destroy all the other tablets on the market, if they don't make the handles on this thing removable it is going to be pain in the ass to carry around and will kind of defeat the purpose of a portable gaming  tablet.

However, let's talk tech specs! This little guy has a third generation ivy-bridge Intel i-7 processor. I somehow doubt that this will be equivalent to it's desktop brother. It may be a very powerful dual-core or a scaled down version of the mobile i-7 that Intel is currently using in many high end laptops. However, we must remember that this is aiming to be a sub 1000$ tablet so don't expect the performance of a i-7 990x! Fiona us said to have a 10.1 inch 1280x800 display. Not quite as high as say the 1080p Acer tablet that was just announced but still up with the likes of the Eee Pad Transformer Prime by Asus. It will also have a 3-axis gyro, magnetometer and accelerometer as well as a THX approved 7.1 surround sound Dolby set up.  This device will also support 802.11b/g/n WiFi as well as Bluetooth 3.0. As for the rest we are uncertain and all remains speculation. Razer would not comment on whether or not Fiona would feature a discrete graphics card by either AMD or Nvidia however they stated that it remained a possibility. It may run Windows 8. However Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is also an option. Or maybe a dual boot of both? I'm just hoping they integrate the controls into the tablet itself and remove the handles. Force feedback is not something i care about. I'm a PC player not a console player. I don't want my mouse and keyboard to rumble ;)
